Greene County Court Records Search

Court records in Greene County can be accessed through several means, as seen below.

Online Access

Online access is the ideal solution for individuals seeking Greene County court records without visiting the court in person. The Missouri judiciary makes room for this through its Case.net website. Researchers can search for court records of the 31st judicial circuit on the website using the litigant’s name, case number, or filing date.

Documents filed after July 1, 2023, are typically available for viewing and downloading directly from the website. For documents filed before July 1, 2023, researchers may see docket entries (case history) on the website, but they generally cannot view the actual scanned documents without visiting the court.

In-Person Access

Individuals can obtain copies (regular or certified) of court records or inspect records not available on the Case.net portal in person at the courthouse. Inquiries may search for the record at courthouse public terminals or request access from court staff at the Clerk of Court’s Office. Similar to searching for a record online, requesters need to provide the litigant’s name, the case number, or the filing date. Requesters may be assessed a fee for copies of a record.

Mail and Phone Requests

Inquirers can request a record by completing and sending the Record Request Form by mail to the Circuit Clerk’s Office. For audio recordings from the Associate Court, individuals may use the CD Request Form instead. Requesters may attach a self-addressed stamped envelope to the mail or pay $1 (in addition to the copy fees) to have the record mailed back via the U.S Postal Service. The usual turnaround time for mail-in requests is 5 to 7 days.

The relevant request form can also be completed and sent to the court via email. Individuals can obtain further information about the request procedures by calling the court.
